During the economic crisis that hit the world recently, there was a lot of businesses that were affected and many had to close shop. The tourism industry especially in Africa bore the brunt considering the fact that the cost of flights to most African destinations is rather high. Uganda was no exception with some tour operators having to layoff some of their staff and others were left on the brink of closure.

The situation is however changing in Uganda, the number of tourists visiting the Country is increasing with the improvement in the economic situation in many of the Countries around the world.
