The Masai Mara national parks is probably one of the most documented conservation areas in the world. It derives its name from the Mara river that runs through it and the Masai people where it is located. The Masai are people with a distinct culture who live side by side with the animals in the conservation area. A Masai Mara tour will most definitely involve watching the wildebeest which is the one of the main attractions in the region. Every year millions of Wildebeest migrate to and from the Masai Mara national park to the Serengeti national park in Tanzania.
